How to arrive at the Greater Binghamton Airport for the 2024 Airshow
From SR-17/I-86W (Owego/Elmira Areas): Take Exit 71N (Airport Road). Turn left at the traffic light, and travel for 8 miles to the airport. For Business/Economy Class Ticket holders: Turn right at the signs for FirstAir and Goodrich Aviation. Follow the driveway all the way down to the end of the hangar. The entrance is on the far side. For VIP Ticket holders: Same directions as above apply to you, but instead of traveling for the full 8 miles, travel for 6 miles until you meet the 4-way intersection of Commercial Drive. For visual cues, there is a gas station to your left. Turn RIGHT onto Commercial Drive, and drive for 0.75 Miles. The entrance gate is to your left.
From SR-17/I-86E (Windsor Area): Take SR-17 West towards Binghamton. Stay on Rt. 17 West. Take Exit 71N (Airport Road) and turn Right at the end of the exit ramp. Follow for 8 miles to the airport. From I-88 (Oneonta Area): Take 88 West towards Binghamton. Merge onto 81 south. Follow 81 South to Rt. 17 West and merge onto 17 West. Take exit 71 (Airport Road) and turn Right at the end of the exit ramp. Follow for 8 miles to the airport. From SR-96B/SR-96 (Ithaca Area): Take 96B and 96 South towards Owego. From Owego take 17 East to exit 71. Turn Left at the light onto Airport Rd. and follow it for 8 miles to the airport. For Business/Economy Class Ticket holders: Turn right at the signs for FirstAir and Goodrich Aviation. Follow the driveway all the way down to the end of the hangar. The entrance is on the far side. From West Chenango (Flint/Kolb/W. Chenango Roads): Turn Right onto Commercial Dr. (immediately after the church), and travel for 1.4 miles to Airport Rd. Turn right at Airport Rd, and travel for 1.8 Miles. For Business/Economy Class Ticket holders: Turn right at the signs for FirstAir and Goodrich Aviation. Follow the driveway all the way down to the end of the hangar. The entrance is on the far side. For VIP Ticket holders: Instead of traveling the full 1.4 miles on Commercial Drive, you will be traveling for 0.7 miles, and turn right at the entrance gate to the airshow.
From Upper Stella Ireland Road: Travel to Abbott West Chenango Road United Methodist Church. Turn Left onto Commercial Dr. (immediately before the church), and travel for 1.4 miles to Airport Rd. Turn right at Airport Rd, and travel for 1.8 Miles. For Business/Economy Class Ticket holders: Turn right at the signs for FirstAir and Goodrich Aviation. Follow the driveway all the way down to the end of the hangar. The entrance is on the far side. For VIP Ticket holders: Instead of traveling the full 1.4 miles on Commercial Drive, you will be traveling for 0.7 miles, and turn right at the entrance gate to the airshow.
